FotoFacial ™
This procedure is designed to produce younger,
healthier looking skin by using a broad spectrum light to penetrate
into the dermal layer. This improves sun damage, wrinkles, broken
capillaries, age spots, freckles, Rosacea, blotchy skin tone,
and enlarged pores. The face, neck, chest, and hands are the
most popular areas that are treated. Microdermabrasion is included
when needed to prepare the surface of the skin since this treatment
works from the dermal to the epidermal layers of skin.
FotoFacial™ treatments are usually recommended
in a package of 5 to prevent downtime, keeping them approximately three
weeks apart for best results. The cost varies depending on areas and
number of treatments needed. The cost will be quoted at the time of
consultation.

Microdermabrasion
This package treatment removes dead skin
cells by creating a mild abrasion to the skin using sodium crystals.
It can be used to treat fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, age
spots, enlarged, clogged or oily pores, acne scars, and stretch marks.
A chemical exfoliation can sometimes be combined with
this treatment for maximum results when treating certain conditions.
This process involves little or no discomfort allowing you to return
to work immediately. A series of 6 treatments is recommended in order
to achieve correctional results.

Fraxel Laser ™
Fraxel™ is an FDA approved laser that treats wrinkles around the eyes, age spots, sun spots, brown spots / pregnancy mask (melasma), acne scars, surgical scars and skin resurfacing. As seen on the and Today Show and The View you can also notice skin tightening due to the collagen remodeling. The technology behind Fraxel allows the laser to precisely treat thousands of microscopic areas of skin by using pinpoint laser beams that are smaller than a single strand of hair to penetrate beneath the skin’s surface. This eliminates old, damaged skin cells and replaces damaged skin with fresh, glowing, healthy skin. Your treatments are tailored to your skin’s individual needs which will determine the amount of downtime you may experience. Since Fraxel™ is so precise, it is proven to be safe and effective on delicate skin areas like the neck, chest and hands as well as the face. You can expect two levels of results. Immediately following the initial healing aspect of the treatment, the surface of the skin will feel softer, appear brighter, and skin tone will start to become even. The progressive results occur over the next three to six months as the deeper layers of skin continue to heal and the collagen remodeling develops.

BioMedic ®MicroPeel
This is a three-step process that removes a micro-thin layer of skin.
Having this layer removed allows the skin to breathe easier unclogging
pores and looking more youthful. Micro-peels are great for sensitive
skin.

MicroPeel Plus Peel
This procedure contains salicylic acid and eliminates blemishes. This
procedure rids the skin of all dead cells ands stimulates the skin
renewal process. There is no downtime and can be performed
in 30 minutes.

TCA Peels
Trichoroacetic acid is used in different strengths depending on the
individual’s skin and desired results. This helps to
correct photodamaged skin and hyperpigmentation. The
TCA peel also improves fine lines, texture, and acne scars. Prepping
the skin for this particular chemical peel is recommended. Patients
report that it feels like a sunburn immediately after the procedure
and usually begins peeling by the 2nd-3rd day for up to 7-10 days.

Glycolic Peels
This is a combination of lactic, maltic, taltaric, and citric acid
that is applied in different strengths depending on the individual’s
skin. It causes a light exfoliation of dead surface cells which
helps to improve texture, enlarged pores, acne breakouts, fine
lines, and superficial discoloration. When a series of glycolic
peels are done two weeks apart, better results are accomplished. There
are 3-5 days of light exfoliation or sloughing of the skin.

Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal is done with a diode laser which penetrates the
skin. The light is absorbed by the darker hair which then heats
up the hair shaft thus destroying the hair. The hair grows
in cycles, therefore, multiple treatments are needed to accomplish
permanent hair reduction. It is recommended to have four treatments
several weeks apart depending on the area being treated. The
most popular areas of treatment are facial areas, underarms,
bikini areas, and legs and arms. Men benefit most from
the lower neck since it eliminates shaving the sensitive skin every
time they shave their beard. Males also benefit from laser hair
removal on their backs, shoulders, and chest.

Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a wonderful way to physically exfoliate the skin on
any skin type. Even the most sensitive and reactive skin can
be treated this way. A scalpel is used by a trained aesthetician
to gently remove the dead surface cells from the stratum
corneum (the outermost layer of the epidermis). Facial hair
is also removed by this process leaving the skin surface soft and
smooth. Dermaplaning also improves skin texture and stimulates
new healthy cell to the surface. This procedure is recommended
monthly.
