Even though cosmetic surgery is elective surgery, it takes time for the body to heal and recuperate just as if you had completed knee or shoulder surgery. If you are considering being ready for that spring break vacation, make sure that you allow for at least 2-3 weeks for recovery from breast enlargement surgery and about 6 weeks for a tummy tuck or “mommy makeover.” For facial procedures like eyelid lifts and facelifts, it is usually the bruising and swelling that takes the most recovery time. It is best to call as soon as possible to set up a consultation to get all the information you need to make the best decision!
